CONCLUSIONS: Recurrent DVT and PE were frequent but had low CFRs (0.4% and 4.6%, respectively) after discontinuing anticoagulation. Contrary, major bleeding was rare, but had high CFR (24%). A few clinical factors may predict these outcomes.

CONCLUSIONS: In complex angiographic lesions, OCT-guided PCI led to a larger MSA and reduced the serious MACE composite of cardiac death, target-vessel MI, or stent thrombosis compared with angiography-guided PCI at 2 years, but did not significantly improve TVF.

Orthotopic transcatheter tricuspid valve replacement (TTVR) devices have been shown to be highly effective in reducing tricuspid regurgitation (TR), and interest in this therapy is growing with the recent commercial approval of the first orthotopic TTVR. Recent TTVR studies report[…]

CONCLUSION: These findings demonstrated the importance of multi-layer modeling with residual stress for more accurate plaque stress/strain calculations, which will have great impact in plaque cap stress calculation and plaque rupture risk assessment. Further large-scale studies are needed to validate[…]

The identification and management of patients at high bleeding risk (HBR) undergoing transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) are of major importance, but the lack of standardised definitions is challenging for trial design, data interpretation, and clinical decision-making. The Valve Academic[…]

CONCLUSIONS: Patients with advanced CKD undergoing Impella-assisted high-risk PCI tend to have higher baseline comorbidities, severe coronary calcification, and higher atherectomy usage, yet CKD was not associated with a higher rate of immediate PCI-related complications. However, 90-day major adverse cardiovascular[…]
